It wasn’t until a couple of years ago that iconic whiskey brand George Dickel made its first entry into the bourbon category with their first Dickel Bourbon, a permanent offering aged eight years.

They’ve now upped their game with the release of Dickel Bourbon Aged 18 Years, a highly-limited, luxurious offering just in time for the holiday season.

The distiller noted that Dickel Bourbon was first released to provide a home to the mature whiskies at the distillery that leaned more into traditional bourbon notes.

And now, Nicole Austin, director of George Dickel & Luxury Whiskey, looks to showcase more of that rare juice with Dickel Bourbon Aged 18 Years.

The small-batch bourbon, which clocks in at 90 proof, was aged in charred oak barrels, the liquid blended to capture the tradition of what George A. Dickel was doing more than a century ago.

Dickel Bourbon Aged 18 Years can be found in select markets across the U.S. for a limited time, and has a suggested retail price of $510 for a 700ml bottle.
