Zomoz Mezcal

It’s true that making a top-notch mezcal is an art form, rooted in tradition passed down from one generation to the next. 

Zomoz Mezcal is made in the heart of Oaxaca by fourth generation Maestra Mezcalera Isabel Santiago. She’s continuing her family’s operation by making Zomoz, which comes from 100% Espadin agave and natural spring water. Just those two ingredients.

To make this remarkable mezcal, the espadin hearts are roasted in an underground stone oven, crushed by a traditional tahona, naturally fermented, distilled twice in copper stills, and finally double filtered before bottling.
