ENTREMANOS is a new, artisanal Tequila Blanco that’s additive-free and is helping make strides toward gender equality in the spirits industry.

“ENTREMANOS is committed to making the best tequila possible. It is a trago lento, or a slow drink, designed to be sipped, not taken as a shot, to allow the richness of the spirit to enhance your enjoyment,” explained Yan Monroy, CEO of the company. “ENTREMANOS means ‘between hands,’ which represents our deep-rooted commitment to the art of handcrafted production and meticulous attention to detail.

They make ENTREMANOS out of 100% blue agave. Their preferred tequila-making process involves waiting a minimum of 5 to 7 years for the agave to achieve ‘ideal ripeness.’

The liquid itself, ENTREMANOS is a bright crystalline with silver shades. Its aroma has sweet notes of cooked agave and dried fruit and herbal and citrus nuances. On the palate, it’s soft and presents an aftertaste with sweet notes of the baked and caramelized agave.

Monroy continued, explaining that ENTREMANOS has an important corporate social responsibility commitment through sustainability. The bottle, cork, and decorative twine are all made from recycled materials.

And the corporation founded Cultivando Lazos A.C., a non-profit organization committed to cultivating gender equality in the tequila industry. An estimated 90,000 people worked in the Tequila industry in 2023, and it was recorded that only 30% were women.

Cultivando Lazos A.C. works to empower women in the tequila industry, break paradigms on gender equity, develop opportunities for women, cultivate womens’ capabilities and proper conditions to freely make decisions which affect every aspect of their lives, and expand women’s choices and strengthen their voice.

You can find a bottle of ENTREMANOS at retail outlets for a suggested price of $59.99. It’s available for $69.99 online.
