It wasn’t your average St. Patrick’s Day, as it fell on a Sunday this year. And as folks were doing things a little different, you may have noticed that people were looking for more variety and creativity in their cocktail options for the holiday.
In fact, you may have seen folks put down their green beer and stir up an Irish Espresso Martini.
And that was the basis for Kahlúa’s new campaign, stating that “Stout is Out” this St. Patrick’s Day. And the folks at Kahlúa were inspired to create a frothy-headed and creamy drink called the Kahlúa Irish Espresso Martini.
The Irish twist on the cocktail is a big part of their new ad campaign called “Feliz St. Patrick’s Day,” showing guys stirring things up at their local pub, which you can see here.
Directed by Oscar-nominated, Derry Girls director Michael Lennox and starring the Irish father-son creator duo, Tadhg and Derry Fleming, as well as Ian Ryan, stout aficionado and founder of Beautiful Pints – you can find it on Kahlúa’s Instagram and YouTube channels.
