Dewar’s Scotch Whisky officially released the fourth Dewar’s 19 Year Old – The Champions Edition.
In doing so, the Scotch whisky maker partnered with the 124th Golf U.S. Open Championship, and this limited-edition whisky marks the fourth year of Dewar’s being the official Scotch whisky of the tournament.
This top-notch whisky was crafted by Dewar’s master blender, Stephanie Macleod. She explained that this year’s iteration was finished using Dewar’s double-aging method and was “extra-matured” in rye whiskey casks.
The result, the whisky maker noted, is a Scotch that’s rich and complex, just like the game of golf.
The Dewar’s 19 whisky features ripe notes of pear and heather honey, as the rye casks provide a spicy complexity that warms like a dusting of cinnamon and cocoa powder.
Dewar’s 19 Year Old Champions Edition clocks in at 43% ABV and has a suggested retail price of $79.99 for a 750ml bottle. You can purchase a bottle HERE. For more information, check out www.dewars.com.
