From a classic Gin and Tonic, a Scotch Negroni, or a Rum Mojito, you can toast mom with a splash of the good stuff. Here’s three intriguing recipes from the makers of these gins, Scotches and rums:
Total Eclipse Cocktail from Mount Gay Rum
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Mount Gay Eclipse
- .75 oz fresh lemon juice
- .5 oz simple syrup
- .5 oz Averna Amaro (float on top)
- Garnish: orange slice
Directions:
- Shake and strain over crushed ice
- Float with Averna Amaro
- Garnish with an orange half-moon
The Botanist Clover Club from The Botanist Gin
Ingredients:
- 2 oz The Botanist
- 0.5 oz Lemon Juice, Freshly Squeezed
- 0.5 oz Raspberry Syrup
- 1 Egg White
- Raspberries
Directions:
- Add The Botanist, lemon juice, raspberry syrup, and egg white into a shaker and shake vigorously for five seconds.
- Add ice and shake until well-chilled, approximately ten seconds.
- Strain into a child cocktail glass.
- Garnish with three speared raspberries.
Laddie Collins from Bruichladdich
Ingredients:
- 50ml Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie Whisky
- 20ml Lemon juice
- 15ml Golden syrup
- 120ml Soda water
- 1 Lemon wedge
Instructions:
- Pour ingredients except for soda water, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake well & pour into a tall glass.
- Top with soda water and garnish with a lemon wedge.
