Barbancourt recently revamped its signature line of rums with fresh premium packaging and the launching of the new Overproof White expression. This marks a significant milestone as the company recently faced important challenges operating through general unrest in its homeland of Haiti.
To date, the Haitian distillery now sports 55 medals of distinction from worldwide spirits competitions since its inception in 1862. The production technique of the Rhum Barbancourt distillery has been passed on from generation to generation and was even added to the Haitian National Registry of Cultural Heritage in 2021.
As far as the award-winning Overproof White Rum, it clocks in at 110 proof. It’s clear and strong, ideal for creative cocktails.
