When it comes to sophisticated spirits, Grand Brulot VSOP Cognac is making waves by merging French tradition with a touch of Cuban flair. This exquisite cognac, rooted in 200 years of French heritage, offers a remarkable journey for the palate.
Crafted in the heart of France’s Cognac region, Grand Brulot embodies the essence of authentic VSOP cognac. What sets it apart is its unique fusion with 100% Ecuadorian Robusta coffee beans, a blend that enhances its rich, complex profile. The result is a finely aged cognac that boasts deep, layered flavors, thanks to its time spent maturing in French oak barrels.
The mastermind behind this innovative spirit is Francisco Tonarely, a veteran in the alcohol industry known for his pivotal role in launching Don Julio 1942. Tonarely’s commitment to reviving ancient traditions is evident in every bottle of Grand Brulot, which now graces the shelves of prestigious bars and restaurants worldwide.
Handcrafted by the Tardy family, with Christoph Tardy … fifth-generation Cognac producer … at the helm, Grand Brulot reflects meticulous attention to detail. From its inception to its final presentation, every step ensures a high-quality product that stands out in the luxury spirits market.
Whether you’re at Peter Lugers in New York, White’s Club in London, or Smith & Wollensky in Miami, a glass of Grand Brulot promises an exceptional tasting experience, blending heritage and innovation in a way that is both timeless and contemporary.
The cocktail possibilities are endless with the spirit, and here’s a couple of suggestions:
THE RISE AND SHINE
- 2 oz Grand Brulot
- Orange Twist
Directions: The easiest way to enjoy Grand Brulot is neat or over ice with a twist of orange. The orange will highlight the flavors of the spirit and each serving brings with it the same 80mg of caffeine as a shot of espresso.
GRAND BRULOT CARAJILLO
- 1.5 oz Grand Brulot
- 1 shot of espresso
- 1.5 oz orange liqueur
- .5 oz vanilla syrup
- Orange twist
Directions: Mix ingredients and shake together in a circular motion to create foam. Pour in a coupe glass and garnish with an orange twist.
GRAND BRULOT OLD FASHIONED
- 1 oz of Grand Brulot
- 1.5 oz of Bourbon
- ½ teaspoon of Superfine Sugar
- 2 Dashes of Angostura Bitters
Directions: The Old Fashioned developed during the 19th century and was given its name in the 1880s. The Old Fashioned is one of our favorite cocktails and we wanted to create a Grand Brulot variant by adding the elegant and savory flavors of Cognac and Coffee to it. Gradually stir the liquid and sugar then strain it.
GRAND BRULOT ESPRESSO MARTINI
- 2 oz Grand Brulot
- 1 oz Espresso
- ½ oz of Amaretto or Vanilla Syrup
Description: A world-famous classic cocktail. Grand Brulot enhances the Espresso Martini and delivers an indulgent medley of rich coffee combined with premium French VSOP Cognac. A deliciously revitalizing cocktail that is balanced, warming and eminently drinkable.
Directions: Using a shaker, combine Grand Brulot, coffee and liqueur together. Shake (25 times) vigorously with ice and then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a few cracked coffee beans and an orange twist.
