Hey y’all, big news out of Montana as the inaugural Whitefish Food & Wine Festival is kickin’ off in beautiful Whitefish, MT, from September 13-15. They’ve got a whole slew of events lined up that’ll let you dive into the best food and drink that neck of the woods has to offer.

From intimate wine pairings to fancy culinary experiences and themed shindigs, they’re pullin’ together top-notch wineries, craft beer makers, and distilleries with local food stars and chefs. You’ll get to enjoy Grand Tasting sessions and more, all set against the gorgeous backdrop of Whitefish.

Now, this festival’s a labor of love from some pretty notable folks. They’ve got the one and only Chef Todd English, a four-time James Beard Award winner; Ryan Heil, who’s put together over a thousand high-end events worldwide; and local hero, Joe Hess. They’ve teamed up to make this the fall event you don’t want to miss.

The fun will all unfold at Haskill Creek Farms, where you’ll find both public and private events. We’re talkin’ Grand Tasting sessions, fancy lunches and dinners with unique wine pairings, educational panels, Sommelier sessions, live music, and exclusive VIP experiences. And if you’re up for some outdoor adventures, they’ve got “Sip & SUP” paddle board excursions and scenic hikes above Whitefish Lake, topped off with gourmet wine and cheese picnics.

Chef Todd English, one of the founders, said, “I’m thrilled to be part of this amazing event that highlights the incredible Whitefish culinary and hospitality scene. We’re looking to create a special, intimate festival that truly showcases what Whitefish has to offer. We can’t wait to share this breathtaking experience with everyone.”

At the Grand Tastings, you’ll enjoy live music, sponsor activities, and an elevated dining experience curated by Chef Todd English himself. You’ll get a keepsake wine glass and complimentary tastings of wine, beer, and spirits. For those wanting something extra special, the Todd English Food Experience tent will have gourmet food stalls, full-plate offerings, and masterclass cooking demos.

Plus, the festival’s all about supporting the local scene. This year’s charity beneficiaries include the Whitefish Ski Heritage Center & Museum.
