Recently, Horse Soldier Bourbon Whiskey unveiled Commander’s Select VI, the newest addition to the brand’s lineup of limited-edition bourbons.

Straight out of Kentucky, Commander’s Select VI is unique, as it’s a high-rye barrel-proof offering put aways 12 years ago in a single Bardstown rickhouse. It was then blended from hand-selected barrels.

And attention please, the Commander’s Select VI is a tribute to the U.S. Army Green Berets who made history with their horseback insertion into northern Afghanistan in the wake of 9/11.

The new expression launched Sept. 3, and with this release, the whiskey makers intend to honor the courage and legacy of these soldiers.

MSRP: Commander’s Select VI is a limited run whiskey, and sells for a suggested price of $595 per bottle.
