This holiday season, the spirit of giving just got a little stronger, thanks to Jack Daniel’s and their annual “Barrel Tree” sale, an initiative that brings a touch of festive cheer to the nation’s military families.
For $200, you can own a piece of Jack Daniel’s history. Each of the 10 Barrel Trees, which are currently lighting up cities across the U.S., is constructed from genuine whiskey barrels, each one carrying a story of craftsmanship and tradition.
These iconic barrels are now available for purchase at http://www.operationridehome.com, with all proceeds benefiting Operation Ride Home … an incredible program that, in partnership with the Armed Services YMCA, helps junior-enlisted service members travel home for the holidays.
Since its inception in 2011, the program has raised nearly $3 million, aiding over 13,000 service members from every branch … Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard.
“Each barrel has always held a special place in our hearts, and during the holidays, they serve an even greater purpose … helping military families reunite,” said Chris Fletcher, Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller. “By purchasing a barrel, you’re not only supporting the military community but also helping make this holiday season unforgettable for those who sacrifice so much.”
Jack Daniel’s first brought its 26-foot-tall Barrel Tree to life in 2011 in Lynchburg, Tennessee, using 140 American white oak barrels. This year, the tradition has expanded to nine other cities, including Nashville, Tampa, San Antonio, Washington, D.C., New Brunswick, New York, San Francisco, and Venice.
Each barrel, charred and seasoned with the rich flavors of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, tells a story of holiday cheer and camaraderie.
So this season, why not raise a glass, take home a barrel, and help make the holidays a little brighter for those who serve? To get involved, check out http://www.operationridehome.com and support the country’s military heroes.
