Garrard County Distilling Co., a rising star in Kentucky’s bourbon scene, recently unveiled its new flagship: All Nations Kentucky Straight Bourbon.
This 5- to 7-year-old blend, crafted by a team of four award-winning experts, brings a fresh approach to whiskey-making with a blend of storied distilling traditions from across the state.
All Nations Kentucky Straight Bourbon is a community whiskey, born from the collaborative effort of seasoned distillers from Jim Beam, Barton, MGP, and Bluegrass.
Unlike traditional single-master distiller approaches, this panel of whiskey experts worked together to create a balanced blend that appeals to a wide range of palates. The result is a smooth yet bold bourbon with just the right mix of sweetness and spice.
At $39.99 retail, this bourbon is an approachable option for whiskey lovers. It recently earned a Gold Medal and 95 points at the 2024 International Wine and Spirits Competition, and a Double Gold Medal at the America’s Best Beverage Awards.
The blend includes a mix of corn, rye, and malted barley mash bills, and was aged in #4 alligator char barrels before its final aging at Garrard County’s Lancaster, Kentucky distillery.
On the nose, expect aromas of sweet spice, clove, and dry leather, with hints of Madagascar vanilla and toasted sugar. The taste profile reveals poached pear, honeyed black tea, and a smoky tobacco finish. A bold 96 proof, All Nations is versatile enough for both sipping neat or crafting into a classic cocktail.
The story behind the name “All Nations” nods to the temperance movement of the late 1800s. The distillery chose the name as a playful counterpoint to Carrie Nation, the infamous prohibitionist who famously smashed saloons with a hatchet.
The distillery’s approach, in contrast, is all about bringing people together through shared experiences and voices, making All Nations a true community spirit.
Currently available in Georgia, Kentucky, and Tennessee, as well as online, this new bourbon is the first in a full portfolio relaunch. Stay tuned for the upcoming release of All Nations Small Batch and Single Barrel Bourbons.
