Buffalo Trace Distillery’s annual 100 Bourbon Sets for 100 Charities initiative is back, aiming to support nonprofit organizations across the U.S.
The program, which celebrates the legacy of Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr., will donate 100 sets of its finest whiskeys to help raise funds for charitable causes. Taylor, known as the father of modern bourbon, is honored through this initiative, which ties in with the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 … one of his lasting legacies.
In its first year, the program raised more than $134,000, supporting organizations in 36 states. The funds helped causes ranging from veterans’ services and cancer research to youth education and animal rescue. “We’re thrilled to continue this initiative and celebrate the work of nonprofits nationwide,” said Andrew Duncan, Global Brand Director at Buffalo Trace.
Each of the 100 sets features premium products from Buffalo Trace’s iconic brands, such as E.H. Taylor Jr., Blanton’s, and Weller, with the number of bottles in each set varying. Nonprofits interested in participating can apply beginning March 3, 2025, in honor of Bottled-in-Bond Day. Applications will be accepted until June 11, 2025, with selected organizations announced the week of July 28, 2025.
For the program, nonprofits must use the donated bottles for fundraising and report the proceeds by Dec. 31, 2025. Buffalo Trace will manage logistics for bottle distribution, ensuring compliance with state laws.
