It’s World Cocktail Day, and it’s the perfect time to raise a glass to innovation and flavor. Tequila Corralejo, one of Mexico’s most historic and storied tequila producers, is marking the occasion with two vibrant cocktail recipes that reflect some of today’s biggest mixology trends: tropical spice and garden-fresh wellness.

Whether you’re into zesty, refreshing sips or crave something with a fiery kick, these Corralejo creations are a celebration of modern flavor fused with centuries of tequila craftsmanship.

Pineapple + Tajín Paloma

Tropical. Spicy. Irresistibly Instagrammable.

Tapping into the growing demand for “sweet heat,” this fresh take on the classic Paloma blends the juicy brightness of pineapple with a spicy Tajín rim—perfect for those who love their cocktails bold and vibrant.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Tequila Corralejo Reposado
  • 2 oz fresh pineapple juice
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz agave nectar
  • Grapefruit soda
  • Tajín (for the rim)
  • Lime wedge and pineapple slice (for garnish)
  • Ice

Method:
Rim a glass with lime juice and dip in Tajín. Fill with ice. In a shaker, combine tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, and agave. Shake well and strain into the glass. Top with grapefruit soda and garnish with lime and pineapple.

This cocktail captures the essence of warm-weather sipping: fruity, fizzy, and kissed with just the right amount of heat.

Triple C Margarita (“The SPA-rgarita”)

Fresh. Herbal. Spa-inspired.

As wellness-inspired cocktails gain traction, cucumber and fresh herbs like cilantro are taking center stage on menus and social feeds. The Triple C Margarita—Corralejo’s nod to this garden-fresh movement—delivers a crisp, aromatic experience worthy of its nickname.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Tequila Corralejo Silver or Reposado
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • ½ oz triple sec (Magdala Orange Liqueur recommended)
  • ½ oz agave syrup
  • 4 thin cucumber slices + 1 for garnish
  • 2 sprigs fresh cilantro

Method:
Muddle cucumber and one cilantro sprig in a shaker. Add tequila, lime juice, agave, triple sec, and ice. Shake well and pour (ice included) into a glass. Garnish with cucumber and cilantro.

The result is a bright, revitalizing cocktail that balances citrus zing with cool cucumber and a hint of herbal complexity—perfect for brunch, spa days, or anytime you want a cleaner, greener take on the margarita.

Crafted with Heritage and Heart

Both cocktails showcase the versatility and character of Tequila Corralejo, a brand with more than 250 years of history rooted in authenticity. Produced at the iconic Hacienda Corralejo in Guanajuato … birthplace of Mexican independence leader Don Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla … Corralejo tequilas are made from 100% estate-grown blue weber agave, crafted using time-honored techniques passed down through generations.

Each bottle is a work of art, made in-house from custom glass, a testament to the brand’s deep commitment to quality and Mexican heritage. As one of the few tequila distilleries outside Jalisco, Corralejo offers a unique flavor profile that speaks to its region and its roots.
