The advent calendar has been a holiday tradition for ages. And in recent years, Flaviar has upped the game with a signature whiskey advent calendar with a host of iconic spirits from around the world.

Now, just in time for the holiday season, Flaviar launches The Lost Art of Distillation – The Amber Kingdom, this year’s signature advent calendar. It features 24 50mL glass vials of whiskey from eight different countries, two special Glencairn tasting glasses and a tasting journal for at-home tastings of each whiskey. 

And to boot, each calendar purchase comes with a free, 12-month Flaviar Black Membership. 

Flaviar is a spirits membership club and retail store that brings members new spirits through comparative tasting, and they offer access to rare and unique spirits. 

Flaviar’s holiday advent calendar is now in its sixth year. The Lost Art of Distillation has a suggested price of $250.

Flaviar Co-Founder Grisa Soba said that every year since its first release in 2018, the advent calendar is Flaviar’s most highly anticipated release. 

“And since our spirits curators often need to channel their inner Indiana Jones, we decided to really lean into the adventurous theme this year – hence the name ‘The Lost Art of Distillation,’ he said. “Finding 24 whiskeys worthy of inclusion is a challenge we take seriously and I’m extremely proud that the 2023 advent calendar selection is truly the best one so far.”
