Good news for bourbon lovers who have always wanted to experience Buffalo Trace Distillery but haven’t made the trip to Kentucky. This fall, the legendary distillery is packing up the whiskey, the stories, and a little piece of Frankfort and taking it on the road.

Following a debut last year, Buffalo Trace Distillery On Tour returns for 2026 with stops in four cities across Missouri, Texas, and Colorado. The traveling tasting experience offers bourbon fans a chance to enjoy guided tastings, learn about the distillery’s rich history, and even pick up exclusive souvenirs … all without leaving their hometown.

Each complimentary 75-minute session is led by Buffalo Trace experts who walk guests through four standout pours while sharing the craftsmanship and traditions behind each whiskey. Along the way, participants will learn about mash bills, barrel aging, tasting notes, and the unique characteristics that make each expression distinct.

• Eagle Rare 10 Year Old
• Weller Antique 107
• The new Sazerac Rye 100 Proof

Beyond the tasting itself, guests will have the opportunity to purchase exclusive city-specific barware created just for each tour stop, making for a fun keepsake while supplies last.

• Denver, Colorado – Church Ranch Event Center | November 12–15

Each city will host 14 complimentary tasting sessions spread over four days, with afternoon and evening time slots available.

While the experience is free, reservations are required … and they’ll likely disappear quickly. Registration opens Wednesday, September 2 at 10 a.m. ET (9 a.m. CT). Guests may reserve up to four tickets, and attendees must be at least 21 years old.
